FAQ's


1. How can I contact you ?

You can email us on team@thethreadweavers.in or call us on +91 94312 14056 from Monday to Saturday between 10:00am to 06:00pm.

2. What are the benefits of creating an account ?

With an account, you can access all the information related to your order. You can also save and edit your personal information (delivery address). To sweeten the deal, you get a 10 percent discount on all orders placed during your birthday week ( you’ll need to email us a proof to avail the discount).

3. What if I forget the password to login to my account ?

Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Simply click on the ‘Forgot Password’ link and enter your registered email address. We’ll send you a link to reset your password to your registered email address.

4. Can I shop on The Thread Weavers website without creating an account ?

Absolutely, you can place an order on our website and checkout as a guest. However, we recommend that you create an account so that you can avail exciting offers and discounts. Also, it just takes a few minutes to sign up.

5. Do you have a physical store ?

We do not have a retail store at the moment but you’re more than welcome to come and view our manufacturing facility in Bhagalpur. Please drop us an email to fix a time and we’d love to show you around

6. How do I know that my order has been placed ?

Once your order has been processed and  we’ve received your payment, you’ll receive an email/text confirmation with your order details.

7. What are the delivery time frames ?

The delivery time differs from city to city. We estimate that it may take between 7 to 10 business days for items to be delivered. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the delivery may sometimes be delayed. We always endeavour to have your products delivered to you on time.

8. How do I receive my order ?

We ship your order through one of our multiple delivery partners. All of them are registered service providers. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive the tracking details for your order.

9. Can I cancel an order ?

Your order can be cancelled for a full refund before it has been shipped. If you choose to cancel your order after it has been shipped, there would be a charge of INR 250 deducted from your refund amount to cover the costs of shipping (onward and return).

10. I’m unable to place an order through the website ?

We’re sorry for the inconvenience. Try using a different browser or just give us a call on +91 94312 14056 and we’ll sort this for you.

11. Can I change the delivery address once my order has been placed ?

Do call us immediately on +91 94312 14056 and we’ll try and have this updated for you. Please note that this can only be done in cases where the order hasn’t been shipped from our facility. Once the order is shipped, it’s not possible to change the delivery address.

12. I have not received my order, what do I do ?

Don’t worry, we’re there to help. Please check your tracking details to see the status of your order. If you’re unable to see it, please let us know and we’ll follow this up with our logistics partner.

13. I missed the delivery, what do I do ?

If for some reason you were unavailable at the time of your delivery, please email (team@thethreadweavers.in) or call us (+91 94312 14056) and we can follow this up with our logistics partner.

14. What do I do if my package is tampered ?

If you think that your package is damaged or has been tampered with, please do not accept delivery and return this to the delivery person. Please email (team@thethreadweavers.in) or call/text us (+91 94312 14056) and we’ll have it’s sorted for you. 

15. What are the available payment options ?

Our website has several payment options all of which are safe and secure. You can pay via credit or debit card (MasterCard, Visa or Amex) using our secure payment gateway. We also offer various wallets (PayTM or GooglePay) you can use to make payments. Alternatively, you can also pay via Net Banking or Direct Deposit to our bank account. Please call us on +91 94312 14056 if you face any issues while completing your transaction.

16. Why is Cash on Delivery option not available ?

Due to Covid-19, we want to avoid physical contact as much as possible to ensure everyone’s safety and well-being which is why we currently Cash on Delivery option is unavailable.

17. How can I avail free shipping ?

We offer free shipping on all orders over INR 3,999. For order below this amount, we charge a flat shipping fee of INR 150.

18. How can I exchange a product ?

All our products pass through a quality check before being shipped. However, if you believe that the product sent to you has any defects, please let us know within 2 days from the date of delivery. You would need to ship the product back to us and we will reimburse you the shipping costs upon receiving the copy of the shipping receipt. Once we receive the product, we can send you a replacement at no extra cost or provide you a refund of the amount paid at the time of placing the order. The product needs to be sent back to us with the original tags and packaging. We will be unable to exchange any products which have been altered in any way to suit your needs.

19. What if the product is defective ?

If the product sent to you has any defects, please let us know within 2 days from the date of delivery. Once acknowledged by the team, you would need to ship the product back to us and we will reimburse you the shipping costs upon receiving the copy of the shipping receipt. Once we receive the product, we can send you a replacement at no extra cost or provide you a refund of the amount paid at the time of placing the order. The product needs to be sent back to us with the original tags and packaging. We will be unable to exchange any products which have been altered in any way to suit your needs.

20. Can any products available on your website be customised ?

If you need customisation of any product available on our website, please get in touch with us via email (team@thethreadweavers.in) or phone (+91 94312 14056) and we can provide you further information. Please be aware it may take a few extra days to dispatch your product. The production will commence once the full payment for the product has been received.  Please note that an order for a customised product cannot be cancelled and we will be unable to offer any exchanges on customised products. 

21. Can I send your products as a gift to someone ?

Absolutely, we’re more than happy to gift wrap your product at no extra cost and include a personalised message and ship it directly to the recipient's address.

22. Do all sarees come with a blouse piece ?

Yes, all our sarees come with a running blouse piece. If the blouse piece is not included, it will be mentioned in the product description. 

23. Do all suits come with a pyjama/salwar?

No, all our suits do not come with pyjama/salwar. If the pyjama/salwar is included, it will be mentioned in the product description.
